Jill:
When my doctor and I decided that biologics were the way to go, we landed on HUMIRA, and one of the big reasons for me was because I was able to inject myself. I have a very busy lifestyle, and it fits very well into my lifestyle to be able to do that.
On Screen:
Do not try to inject HUMIRA yourself until you have been shown the right way to give injections.

Niki:
My doctor and his nurse gave me the HUMIRA training kit, so I went home, I read all the inserts, and I practiced with the practice Pen. This really set me up for success, because when I showed up at my induction appointment, I had a very good understanding of how it was going to go. I left feeling empowered and capable, the way every patient should feel.

Your first injection must be given under the supervision of a health care professional.

Melissa:
My advice to anyone who’s just initiating or starting HUMIRA would be to stay hopeful and to talk to your support network, to talk to your doctor and be a little patient—with yourself and learning how to use it.
